Welcome to Bottles to the Ground; a Concert RPG!
The annual Toxic Tour...
Nothing beats the Toxic Tour. It's one of the largest tours around and it's held throughout the entire summer in the main cities around the USA. For nine years now, many have come to see a variety of their favorite rock bands on display as it travels from city to city.
But this year will be different.
Wanting to celebrate the tenth year running, the Toxic Tour will be bigger than ever. Touring more cities and inviting more bands, everyone's preparing for the largest event of the summer. With more attendees and just people in general, anyone there bound to make plenty more friends and enemies.
Most come to listen to the music,
some come to make it big themselves,
and others just enjoy the united atomosphere.
The question is...
Who are you?

WARNING! The site will be changing in two days! This means ALL in the city threads will be moved into the dead board. Finish your threads and copy what you want to keep. Also! This means we're in for a new layout as we approach LAS VEGAS! Whoo!
In other news, I'm deleting my character, Lola. I'm really inactive with her and right now I think I should mainly focus on just being admin and whipping this place back into shape. Maybe she'll come back some day? Who knows.

She sat on an amp smoking a cig, and gulping down a caramel latte, as the staff around her ran around getting things organized for the big event. The Toxic Tour would be beginning soon. This was it, finally her- their big break. She'd been with Easier to lie for quite sometime now and they'd been playing at different venues all over the east coast and finally they were picked up to do a real tour.
It could've been easier, she could've very easily used her dad's people to get them straight to the top, but she didn't want to, and they never asked, they were a straight edge band and wanted to get to the top on their own.
So here she was waiting for the big day. She smiled at the thought and took another drag.

Wulf let his boots scuff the ground, kicking up dust as he walked toward the stage. It was amazing, the stage was huge and the lights were almost done being set up. He stopped just a few feet away and leaned his head back, "B-E-A-utiful" he said to no one in particular. He just loved it, he was going to finally rock out in front of a crowd this big. The things Ready To Ignite had done before had been fun sure, but this was going to be ethereal, magnificent, and legendary. This was it, this was the start of his rise, and the bands. He couldn't wait. Wulf let himself sway from leather boot to leather boot.
His black jean jacket had two breast pockets in the front that the right side held two small bottles of liqueur, and the left had a rock called bloodstone that was good for people in march. Wulf sighed and then started to walk the side of the stage, it was beautiful all around. Then as he kept walking he saw two girls talking, one smoking and the other wishing she was to. He smiled and decided to make an appearance, but it had to have style. He climbed up on stage and took a good detour around so they didn't see him.
Wulf poked one eye out from behind the large speaker and then leaped out and let his rump land on the top of the speaker. "Ello gents!" He said opening up one flap of his pocket and dragging the small bottle out and flicking open the quark. "How would you two lovelies be doing?" he let his British accent roll off the tongue, he had acquired it from hanging around a very British friend he had had once.
It wasn't that good but good enough for a small bit. And even thought it wasn't the best, he would be damned if anyone would make fun of it cause it always brought a smile and thats all that counted to him.

Spencer looked around, she'd woken up on the ground all alone about an hour earlier, and with a killer headache too, someone was going to get hell for that. She smoothed the wrinkes out of her white shirt, her fingers running across the bold green lettering 'THIS SHIRT SAVES OUR PLANET', she let her hands drop to her sides, her fingertips reaching the end of her denim shorts. She reached into her back pocket-- goddammit...they took my smokes again. she thought, looking around. She saw a girl smoking, another girl...and a guy.
Spin scoffed as she walked towards them, her flip-flops clopping against the ground, the noise was going to drive her up a wall soon enough. Stay cool, Spin. Don't get all bitchy. Just remain calm...you don't need to smoke this early in the day anyways. she reassured herself mentally. She kept walking, until her knees fell to the ground "what the fu-OWWWW!!" she cried, not sure what she tripped on, knowing her luck, she tripped over thin air. She groaned a little, this wasn't exactly her day.
She got off the ground, dusting off her knees, which suprisingly, weren't too badly beat up. She looked up at the group once more, hoping they hadn't seen her little fall-- though doubting that they hadn't. How could they have missed it? I yelled. They probably think I'm a weakling...they think I'm pathetic...great...No, Spin...stop being paranoid...SAY SOMETHING!!!. She shook her head a little, shaking herself back into a reality of some sorts. "Hi." she said simply...atleast it was something.

Ruse exhaled the air in magnificent little O's. She was about to take another drag when a girl came up to her. "Can I bum one?" she asked and before she could answer they were joined by a male with a Mohawk drinking from a flask. She reached into her cargo pants, the big pockets just under her knees, her drumsticks were popping out of the pockets and just inside were Marlboro Menthols. She offered the two a cig, when she heard a squeal. It was another girl and she fell, Katelyn tried, and failed to suppress a tiny laugh. "Walk much?" she muttered under her breath, "Sorry, that was rude, make it up to you?" she offered shaking her pack of cigs at her.
Katelyn took a double take when she really saw her company. She'd seen them before, "aren't you guys with the tour?" she asked the three. "The names Ruse." she said extending her hand to the first girl to shake hands, she'd eventually shake the other two's hands.
This was really exciting it wasn't every day she met other band people, that were actually descent enough to get a spot at Toxic any way, not that her band was that great, ok they were, but she was bias.

Spencer walked toward the girl who had laughed at her Oh god. They did see....she even apologized for laughing...I must look pathetic...oh god...should I take the cig? I mean...ahh. Angst. she thought to herself, then looked back up at the girl, taking a cigarette out of the pack, then pulling a lighter out of her back pocket...not exactly a safe place to keep it, but she couldn't really care less about her safety or whatever it was people went babbling on about in the commercials that say 'don't smoke' or whatever.
She placed the fag between her lips and made sure it caught a flame before she put the lighter away. She took a drag of it and looked up at the girl who asked about her being one of the ones on tour. "Names Spencer..and, yeah...I'm on the tour...are you?" she asked, she wasn't always like this around people...only the ones she didn't know, it doesn't take much to gain Spin's trust, and tidbits of information about ones self was a good place to start.
She took another drag of the cigarette, turning away to blow out the smoke, not wanting it to get in anyone's face...it irritated her beyond reason when that happened to her...it's like 'hello? person here...smoke in face...not cool...' but, she'd gotten rather immune to it after being raised in a family of total chain smokers.

Wulf shook hands with the girl who seemed to be the dealer of smokes around here. She also seemed to be pretty composed around the setting she was in. She was either the leader type, or she was a rank behind. He smiled inwardly at the thought. "My name be Wulf lassy, and I drum for Ready To Ignite" He chuckled to himself at his attempted accent and then looked at the new girl. He had wanted to help her up, but he had only seen her get up. Now he was going to be severely nice to this one, out of guilt, and since he liked being nice anyway. He jumped off from his sitting position and landed in the small circle and looked straight into the eyes of the new girl, her name was Spencer she said. "Well its a grand spectacle to meet you Miss Spencer! My name is Wulf as I just told these two fair lasses. And what would your profession be? What drives you here to let your soul out of what you do?"
He smiled wickedly, he was pulling her leg in one way, not expecting her to answer, but also he hoped she did. This small group seemed to be pulled from the "I had a bad home and learned how to play a guitar" he wanted to know if they were really musicians, or just wanna be's. The difference was, did their bad homes drive them here? Or did that feeling deep inside for freedom and independence do it? If she didn't answer he would know which one it would be.

Specer looked at the boy oddly for a moment "uhh...err...well, I drum for Bulldog Eyes..." she said, rubbing the back of her neck. "I'm tired of listening to music that doesn't mean anything...so, I figured if I put myself out there...maybe the music world will be real again...I mean...everyone has a sob story...but, no one wants to hear mine, it's probably nothing compared to most people so I prefer not to throw my own pity party..." she said flatly, choosing not to show much emotion. She didn't like to let people in very easily.
She looked over at him again, taking another drag of the cigarette, turning her head once more to blow out the puff of smoke. She wasn't going to be rude, unless of course someone said something to tick her off, which wasn't exactly easy to do. "If it's my sob story you're looking for...you're really out of luck, sir...I'm not the type to spill my guts unless I'm completely and totally wasted..." she admitted proudly, though it wasn't necessarily something to be proud of.
I must sound like a total weirdo...this is amusing...I wonder how long I can go without really talking to them...they probably think I'm a total nutcase. she thought, looking up, then back down at the ground. "Care to share yours?" she asked.

Inside of Wulf's head something clicked into place, yup, she was the real deal. That was relaxing, he hated being around wanna be's. Wulf nodded to her answer, "Good answer darlin. And my story?" He pretended to think hard for a second and then gave it up. "Im afraid everyone is going to have to wait till the books come out, Im sorry lassies, I hate disappointing my fans but....sometimes it can't be avoided." He kept a straight face for a second then let his deep laughter out that carried around the stage. "So what about my fellow musicians here that I am surounded by?" He said, meaning the other two girls. "I think...a party is in order. We have one night till the big night right girls? How about a nice little R&B for some fun?" He laughed.
Wulf was serious though, he wanted to get to know these guys better before he toured with them. This was fun, hell, it was great. But he needed to know the people he shared a bus with. He looked all of the girls over. All of them were fair attractive, to be sure, but that's not what he was aiming at tonight. Really he didn't feel in the mood for seducing, trying a relationship out, or getting into one. Not tonight anyway...he could feel a small pit start to form in his stomach. He was lonely, but these girls seemed to be interesting, worthy to listen to.

Spencer nodded, understanding why someone would give no more information than the other would "mmm...I understand...dissapoint your number one fan...whatever...I see how it is, I mean...I don't matter at all to you..." she said, letting out a few fake sniffles for dramatic effect. She couldn't help but laugh at herself and how weird she was acting "A party sounds absolutely perfect...you know...a brilliant young man...honest to goodness...you should be in Harvard or something..." she teased, patting him on the shoulder.
She thought this over for a moment "Oh...but...someone has to keep me sober...apparently I'm a total spazz when I drink and it makes my drumming like...suck or something...I don't believe it though...they're just not complex enough to understand my complete genius..." she said quite conceitedly, she took pride in herself, and others' critisizm didn't ever bother her much. She looked up at him once more "screw it...I rock anyways...what harm can a few drinks do?"[/color] she asked, though mostly to herself. She finished off the cigarette and dropped it to the ground, stomping it out before she picked it back up "I'm not big on littering..." she explained softly.

Wulf's eyes grew big and he flew forward and gave the Spencer girla large hug and laughed. "Another enviro pep like myself! Well we will get along very well, very well indeed!" Wulf smiled and turned to the other girls, "And what about yourselves? Come hitherith girls! We need to rock the night away!" He laughed and looked the other girls over. They seemed to be itching to have fun...or was he wrong?
In any case, he was ready to rock the world around him and Spence seemed to be the kinda girl to help him.

Katelyn finished her cigarette as Wulf and Spencer happy to hear she was in the midst of fellow drummers. She got up off the amp and stretched. "I drum with Easier to Lie" she said proudly. They weren't exactly well known, but they were great, at least she thought so. "Party?" she sounded eager, it had been a while since she was able to let loose. She wasn't exactly a drinker, as in she never got drunk, but she always had fun. "Sounds good" she nodded.
On one hand she wanted to ask if she could invite the band, on the other, she wanted this to be a solo thing, get to know the musicians as individuals instead of as a group. That'd be good. She decided to go at it alone, and scope out the competition.
She took out another cig and lit it. "Let's do it."

Spencer was rather startled by the hug, but hugged him back nonetheless. "Well...that's good...I don't get along with most...then again...they don't try to talk to me..." she said, rather emotionless. She let out slightly hesitant laugh, then looked to the girl who'd supplied the cigarettes. Spin knew she should quit...but she'd seriously tried everything, the whole alphabet. She had a rather addictive personality but the nicotine patches did nothing for her. The only thing she could do was replace the addiction with another.
She looked up again, she was feeling a little off her game right now, and a night out would probably be the best thing to bring her back into it, no? She streched out a little bit, letting out a long yawn. This was way earlier than she was used to being awake. ((Writer's block. x_x))

Wulf smiled over at Ruse. "Fantastic! Ok, now for our last contestant!" Wulf motioned toward the other girl with a wave of the hand. He flung himself down on one knee in front of the girl and slapped on some heavilly over done emotion on his face and put himself in the begging position when he asked, "Mad'am, will you party...with me?" he loved playing around like this. This was how he got his kicks to tell you the truth. He loved embarasing people who couldn't deal with a few new eyes looking their way. If he even saw one of them give way to embarrassment, they wouldn't be on his good list anymore. He hated, absolutly, hated seeing people give way to other's expectations.
These girls seemed to be different though. Each in their own way they were fledging their own path and making hell raise to do it. They were going to be on one of the more famous tours and biggest, they were going places. Wulf smiled inside himself, he was there to which said something. Back when he had tried highschool he had hated academics and couldn't concentrate on anything. If he didn't have his music, he didn't have anything. He lived off of music, breathed it, ate it, smoked it, and drank it. Music was the living nectar from which he thrived on!

Spencer couldn't help but laugh at Wulf, not in the sense of making fun of him...more like laughing from amusement at his actions. "Gosh...you're such a tease, Wulf....I mean...I was totally expecting a kick ass proposal...and you ask her to party...I mean...come on...I was bout to get the camera ready and everything..." she joked, waiting for some kind of reaction out of the girl, what Wulf had done was clever, and if she wasnt' phased by this at all, Spencer might freak out for her.
She was rather impatient and decided to speak, filling the silence that felt like acid in her ears "Come on...you cannot deny the man of his request...he got down on his knees...that's quite a workout for the male species..." she said, she didn't really mean any harm by it, it was just who she was: an egotistical sexist little girl with nothing better to do with her night than party with complete strangers, and that's the way she liked it. She was never very open to change, even as a child haircuts scared her to death.
