Welcome to Bottles to the Ground; a Concert RPG!

The annual Toxic Tour...
Nothing beats the Toxic Tour. It's one of the largest tours around and it's held throughout the entire summer in the main cities around the USA. For nine years now, many have come to see a variety of their favorite rock bands on display as it travels from city to city.

But this year will be different.
Wanting to celebrate the tenth year running, the Toxic Tour will be bigger than ever. Touring more cities and inviting more bands, everyone's preparing for the largest event of the summer. With more attendees and just people in general, anyone there bound to make plenty more friends and enemies.

Most come to listen to the music,
some come to make it big themselves,
and others just enjoy the united atomosphere.
The question is...
Who are you?

WARNING! The site will be changing in two days! This means ALL in the city threads will be moved into the dead board. Finish your threads and copy what you want to keep. Also! This means we're in for a new layout as we approach LAS VEGAS! Whoo!

In other news, I'm deleting my character, Lola. I'm really inactive with her and right now I think I should mainly focus on just being admin and whipping this place back into shape. Maybe she'll come back some day? Who knows.

A teenager with softly curled light brown hair and deep brown eyes stood at the wall on the side of the bridge, coffee in hand. Deep in thought, she conversed with her self, contemplating her life at the moment. To put it in short, it was all messed up and terrible. Or at least to her, it seemed that way. Sighing, Corrine finished the frappiccino and pulled out a cigarette. Lighting it, she took a small drag and opened her mouth, the smoke streaming out.

After a few more puffs of the cancer stick, she dropped it and stepped on the burning cig, smiting it completely. Leaning on the cement wall, she rested her chin in her hand and her elbow on the edge. Closing her eyes, she began to think again, pulling occaisionally at her tight black tanktop or flared jeans. Sighing for a second time, she opened her eyes as they looked around. Her mind raced as she gave herself the all clear, and knew what she was about to do.

Swinging one leg up on the wall, she picked herself up and got on her hands and knees as she pulled up the other one. Carefully standing up, she teetered, fighting for her balance. She looked down, at what was below the bridge. Corrine knew that this was stupid, but caffiene and cigarrettes make you think kind of crazy thoughts. As she tottered in the wind, standing on the wall of the bridge, she argued with herself whether or not she should jump.

The skeletally-thin boy sauntered out of the cafè. A smoothie was cupped between his large, guitar-calloused hands, and his honey-colored gaze was cross-eyed as he stared at the straw leading up form the cup, and into his mouth. He'd had the strawberry-and-banana treat for no less than five minutes, and already he'd sucked half of it down. Being over six feet tall, you might start to honestly wonder where all that food went. Westin shoveled in food non-stop; yet he was still allowed to dress as he did today without a snag; charcoal-colored skinny jeans, and a tight, tight fitting tee. It was amazing how he never gained a pound, and weighed less then the amount of an adult woman. It was almost gross

But apparently 'skinny' was the new 'thing.'.....

So he embraced it.

Wes' lengthy strides were bouncy with indefinite amounts of pleasure. The sun felt so wonderful shining down on him, when it was thankfully countered with the breeze of the body of water running below the bridge. His disheveled mass of brunette-and-blonde-highlighted hair curtained his tanned face as expected; and he wore no sunglasses. One would expect the glare from the sun or sea to blind him, or atleast stunt him. But no.

He saw her there perfectly; swaying on that ledge.

He may have been really dumb... but he understood she wasn't just trying to get a good 'view.'

He twisted his long torso around immediately, and sashayed near her; a few feet to her left. He grimaced at the height; the worn-off bottoms of his converse shoes non-promising his risked safety, as he practically leaped onto the barrier as well.

"Hot damn. It sure is pretty up here," He said aloud; gazing at the girl from the corner of his eyes as he flawlessly balanced. He knew what she was doing. But he was gonna play the fool, and somehow use that to trick the mind. Because he had nothing else better to do. "I'd hate to fall down. All that way....." Wes continued; nodding as he noisily slurped the drink in his hands; boldly leaning forward into the wind. "I bet there's rocks at the bottom." He paused and actually turned to her; shuffling an inch or so closer, before dropping his voice. "Pointy rocks."

As Corrine was standing there on the edge, a guy close to her age came up to stand beside her. As he spoke, she tried to tell of he actually knew what she was going to do or not. Leaning over with him, she staggered widely. "Pointy rocks, eh? You wouldn't say," she said sarcastically. Taking a step back, she thought about jumping off right there. Looking over at him, she kind of threatened him. "If you touch me, I'll jump right here," she warned, putting a foot out over the side.

Tugging on her shirt, she took a step away from him as he inched closer. Taking another cig out of her pocket, she looked at him. Lighting it, she took a few drags before flicking it, so the ashed part fell off. Smiling lightly, she dropped it over the bridge. "You're right. That is a long way to fall. Would make it deadly, don't you think?"

"Pointy rocks, eh? You wouldn't say,"

Westin raised a chestnut-toned eyebrow incredulously; contemplating her thick sarcasm. He narrowed his eyes as well; golden irises now glittering horizontal slits. He'd play along. If she wasn't taking it seriously, either would he. "Yes ma'am. They're like... hazardous." He snickered with a short tip of his head; pleased with himself for such a decent, vocabulary-enlightened remark.

"If you touch me, I'll jump right here,"

Westin's lumbering form twitched immediately toward hers as she stepped further onto the railing; his impulsive mind ignoring the words, and anticipating the stronger action. But instead of her falling in; he found himself teetering and swaying dangerously, as he practically weighed nothing and the wind easily over-powered him. He hopped down from the ledge to keep himself alive; key-chains that were attached to his belt loop jingling and flopping around wildly and noisily with the gesture. He stood behind her now; arms crossed as he incredibly reluctant to get back on the certain ledge of fear. "You'd jump just 'cause I touched you? Fuck. I didn't think I was that bad..." He trailed off, before rolling his eyes playfully; the common gesture going unseen, do to his disheveled, multi-colored mess of hair.

"You're right. That is a long way to fall. Would make it deadly, don't you think?"

"Waste of a cigarette," He replied bluntly with a shrug; now sitting on the railing with hesitation; his slender legs swinging slightly as he looked up at her; now farther away from her. He wouldn't test the closeness factor again.

He was always too nosy. Always trying to et into everyone's business if they appeared to need a small speck of help. He'd rush to their aid, even though half the time, as he suspected the same now, it was unwanted. Nevertheless, here he was; prying, once again. "Doll-face, sweetheart, baby-cakes, what-have-you... why're you up here? It's an awfully nice day. Can't find something better to do?" He questioned; hiding a smirk, as he knew full-well there'd probably be a sarcastic remark to his teasing name-calling.

But in all honesty, he was curious. And, his exploitative gaze was revealed to her with a pleading breeze; for once sending the hair from his eyes.

"Hazardous? Hm, maybe I'll rethink jumping," she smirked. Her nose twitched in that way that it did when she was amused, kind of a teeny tiny little twitch. Looking at him closely, she tucked some of her light brown hair behind her ear, watching him with interest as he came toward her and started to sway. Putting a hand on his shoulder to steady him, she giggled lightly.

"I meant if you tried to get me down, like, lifting me down or something." Corrine watched him more carefully after he started to loose his footing the last time. Sitting down beside him, she laughed a little at his nicknames. "Try Cory," she hinted, smiling as he messed with his hair. "Wanting to jump, apparently. I never seem to know what I'm doing or why until it's too late," she said with a smile, ignoring his concern about the cigarette.

"Hazardous? Hm, maybe I'll rethink jumping,"

"I dunno how you can joke about that so lightly." He said softly; a breezy chuckle escaping his lips slightly as her hand steadied him. Yep. Definitely a stupid idea.

No wonder why Wes was up here.

"I meant if you tried to get me down, like, lifting me down or something."

Wes shrugged simply; patting his slender arm as he kicked his feet over the edge pensively. "I have no muscles. Obviously you weigh nothing, but I wouldn't be able to lift you if I tried." He confirmed; hopefully reassuring this was a non-touching relationship.

But he still wouldn't let her jump yet.

"Try Cory,"

"Ah," He nodded softly; mulling the name over in his head. Barely familiar. Damn. Has he seen her face?...

He'd never been good with that. Hell, he wasn't good at anything involving the brain, let alone names-with-faces. "I'm Wes Chelli." He replied before rolling onto his side; back against the barrier as he nonchalantly stared up at the sunny sky; trying to ignore the seagulls.

"Wanting to jump, apparently. I never seem to know what I'm doing or why until it's too late,"

He thought this over bluntly; pursing lips during his weak brain-session. How rare. "Yeah. There's really no room for regret when you jump," He offered her wryly; smiling crookedly; sun glinting off his always-happy mocha eyes. "Therefore," Good word usage, Wes. "If you don't jump....you can't regret it. It's simple-sounding to me. It honestly can't be that bad if you're stalling with me." He snickered; body appearing realized, while in all honesty, he was completely tensed and ready to grab her.

Cory stared out at the horizon. The sun was slowly starting to set. "D--n," she whispered under her breath. She turned to him as he spoke. "When your life is messed up, you kind of stop caring about the big and little things, a lot of it is easy to joke about it." She glanced at his arms as he basically said he couldn't lift her if he wanted to.

As he gave his name in return, she shrugged and nodded at the same time in reply. She looked at him again, staring at his eyes absentmindedly. As she was somewhere in a different world, a bird apparently thought her head would be a good target, and so it laid one on her. Cory bit her lip and tried not to laugh, but she eventually gave in and bust out laughing, flipping the bird off, which made her laugh harder.

"Oh God, I should probably god wash this off." She stood up and jumped down onto the solid cement of the bridge, turning back to Wes. "You wanna come with?" she asked simply, her body stopped moving. The wind tugged on her hair, and she was trying not to laugh again. "Maybe we could get a coffee or something afterwards." She stared at his eyes again as she waited for his answer.
